Texas A & M University versus Fordham University at the Cotton Bowl. Here is the blocked kick that set the stage for Fordham's first touchdown against the Aggies at the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Day. Joe Ungerer, Fordham tackle, who is on the ground at the feet of A & M kicker Bill Conatser, blocked the ball, which careened off to the left. Larry Sartori fell on the ball on the 20 yard line and in six plays the Rams went over the goal line.
