Billy Nation is a dance teacher in Lubbock, Texas. He has created several dances including the inventive streak "America Salutes." The militaristic ballroom dance is being demonstrated by Martha Ceil Graves Lozo and Mr. Nation. They are pictured in the final step: a salute to the flag. Miss Lozo is from Fort Worth, Texas. She is wearing a button-up dress with bell sleeves and a pleated skirt. Mr. Nation is dressed in a double breasted suit.
