Description
Cowboys and cowgirls are gathering at the Pioneer Palace for the J. E. Fender Barn Dance. They are participating in old-fashioned dances like "Little Brown Jug" as well as more modern ones. In attendance, left to right, are Mr. Hubert Hammond Crane, Mary Stone, and Mrs. Hubert Hammond Crane. Mr. Crane and Miss Stone are listening while Mrs. Crane "lays down the law" for correct behavior at the dance. Mr. Crane is wearing a hat, collared shirt, vest, and checkered trousers. Miss Stone is dressed in a cowboy hat, silk blouse, vest, and a skirt. Mrs. Crane is wearing a bonnet and a plaid shawl.
