Description
Fort Worth, Texas, has become the new home of the famous horse, "Fit For a King," The Tennessee walking horse is one of the most outstanding in the nation. Dr. Hugh Beaton, shown in the saddle, purchased the horse from Paul Whiteman. King is a six-year-old chestnut gelding. He won the Madison Square Garden Horse Show last year and repeated this year. Dr. Beaton is riding his horse, dressed in a suit. Either he or his daughter, Olive, ride the show animal daily in Rockwood Park. Fit for a King will be shown by Dr. Beaton at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show in March.
