Pigs and parrots, battleship and trucks, color pegs and building blocks. this is a typical assortment of some of the 7,758 articles the Works Progress Administration (WPA) toy factory made for the Star-Telegram Goodfellows. They'll turn on the grins when they are delivered to underprivileged children for Christmas. The toys are shown displayed on a table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning, December 22 1940.
