No Trick at All to Pull Out Checks: It's no trick at all for Houston P. Hutchens to pull a bunch of checks out of his hat for The Star-Telegram Goodfellow Fund after he makes his annual round of stockyards firms and individuals who each year give to the cause through the Stockyards R. B. Mayo Memorial Fund. This year the checks total $241.50. Photograph showing Houston is standing and holding a hat and a handful of checks. He is well dressed, wearing eyeglasses and smiling. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 17, 1940.
