    Description

    Some East Side Lions examine a portion of the rehabilitated toys which their club, elementary school children and firemen at Station No. 14 have collected and repaired for Christmas presents for underprivileged Fort Worth children. The toys are being distributed through the Parent-Teacher Associations of elementary schools. Left to right, H. G. Hoffman, president of the club; John C. Robertson, chairman of the toy drive; Joe P. Moore, toy committeeman; Roscoe Gass, publicity chairman, and Reverend E. D. Dunlap, club member and pastor of the Polytechnic Baptist Church, the distribution center for the toys. They are checking over the toys to be distributed at Christmas time. Beside the group, a banner for the club is hanging. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening, edition, December 13, 1940.
