Shown are Army Sergeant Paul M. Clemens, 20, left, and his father, Master Sergeant Paul J. Clemens, 44. Both father and son are attached to the service company of the One Hundred and Forty-fourth infantry where Master Sergeant Clemons is transportation chief. The latter served in the World War in the ordinance department and participated in three major battles, has been in the National Guard for 27 years. Sergeant Clemens, his youngest son is a metal worker in civil life. They are standing behind an army truck. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 10, 1940.
