Description
E. F. Crites, of Smithfield, Texas, left, standing, is dropping his ballot into the box under direction of L. C. Day, of Haslet, Texas, seated, voting board chairman. Mr. Day is sitting at a desk, pointing to the ballot box with a pencil. Also on the desk are various papers, envelopes and pencils. Both men are wearing suits. Crites is one of the Tarrant County, Texas, cotton farmers who went to the polls to vote on the marketing and control referendum.
