Abilene business men subscribed $125,000 to lease the property for Army training camp at View, Texas, and make it available to the Government. Shown here are R. B. Leach, member of the city option committee, and R. M. Wagstaff, chairman of the Chamber's military affairs committee. They are active in making Abilene arrangements for the army training camp at View. Mr. Leach and Mr. Wagstaff are both wearing suits and ties and eyeglasses.
