    Among the principals in the Interstate Commerce Commission rail hearing at Hotel Texas, seated, left to right, C. D. Peckinpaugh, Fort Worth, general manager of Fort Worth and Denver City Railway; J. D. Walker, Denver, general manager of the Colorado and Southern; and H. W. Johnson, Chicago, comptroller for the C &S system, all witnesses for the railroads. Standing is Walter McFarland, Chicago, attorney handling the railroad's case. The Texas shippers and railway employees are opposing the application by the Colorado and Southern to lease the properties of the Fort Worth and Denver City and Wichita Valley Railways.
