Description
Homer Thorp, extreme left, is one of 54 Big Spring boys in the Santa Anna anti-tank company. He is eating to keep energy for his 248-pound body for the Santa Anna mountain drill. Two other men are eating beside him. With no seating, they are squatting by a wall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 1, 1940.
