Former football lettermen of Big Spring in the Santa Anna anti-tank Company are posing for a group picture. The front row are posed in three-point stance, left to right, Murlan Smith, Fred Woodson, Harry Logsdon, Jack Rhoton, John Bailey, Virgil Adams; and (back row) with hands on their knees stance are, left to right, Alton Chapman, Charlie Sattles, and Bill Franklin. Mr. Logsdon is holding a small dog. They are all in military uniform. There are framed panoramic pictures on the wall behind them. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 1, 1940.
