    Description

    I. E. McWhirter, right, circles the dates, Dec. 4 and 11, on his pocket calendar as a reminder that on these nights the Footlite Club of First Methodist Church will present the second of its four plays this season- "Icebound," Pulitzer Prize winner written by Owen Davis. Ready to sell tickets to anyone are Bob Hamilton, ticket sales chairman, and Miss Maybell Criner, club president. McWirter has been teacher of the church's Co-Worker Class, sponsor of the club, for 13 years. He is wearing spectacles, a striped collared shirt, pocket square and suit. Miss Maybell Criner is wearing a dress with an airplane and parachute pin. Bob Hamilton has his hair slicked back and is wearing a suit and tie. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition November 28, 1940.
