Two Fort Worth, Texas boys played a big part in Texas Wesleyan College's successful football season which ended with the 20-0 victory over Daniel Baker at Brownwood, Texas. One of them is Kave King, rugged junior from Poly High. King is pictured here wearing his uniform with a jersey over shoulder pads, padded pants, cleats, and helmet. He is squatting in the middle of a field and is holding a football in front of him with both hands. Star-Telegram Evening, November 29 1940.
