Texas Wesleyan College (T. W. C.) football. Steve Scarafiotti, left, half back and co-captain of Texas Wesleyan College Rams taking the ball from Dick Wallis, sophomore halfback from Wichita Falls, Texas. Scarafiotti is a senior from Trinidad, Colorado. Both men are standing in a field and wearing full uniforms with jerseys over their shoulder pads, padded pants, cleats, and helmets. Wallis is squatting with the ball outstretched in both hands while Scarafiotti is running by him with both hands ready to grab the ball. Star-Telegram Evening, November 14 1940.
