Description
Palo Pinto's Historic Landmark Soon to Be Replaced -- View through the front entrance of the Palo Pinto County, Texas Courthouse from the first floor corridor. Sitting at the front of the entrance are two unidentified men. Standing outside the courthouse are three more unidentified men. This is a typical scene with ranchmen talking to county officials near the iron turnstile gate to the fenced courtyard. Hanging from the ceiling in the corridor is a light bulb and various documents are pinned to the wall on the left side. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 21, 1940.
