Description
There was plenty of activity at City-County Hospital as 126 Tarrant County registrant volunteers passed through a line of medical examiners. Here is Nell Swilling, Association supervisor of the clinic, taking a blood sample from Claude Shaffer, 22. Ms. Swilling is in a nurses' uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 14, 1940.
