Description
Texas Christian University (TCU) vs. Baylor University football game. Baylor player Travis Nelson races for a touchdown from 10 yards out without being touched. Most of the players on the field can be seen in this shot, along with three referees; all of whom are wearing their respective uniforms. Nelson is running with the ball close to the near sideline about five yards from the end zone with three teammates running beside him. Texas Christian University players are pursuing Nelson, but none are very close to him. At the bottom of the picture, a crowd of spectators fills the stands. Star-Telegram Morning, November 3 1940.
