National Guard Sergeant (NGS) Richard W. Singleton, showing some of the finer points of horseshoeing to brothers Milburn, Elisha, and Edward Riddle. The Riddle brothers are squatting next to the horse while Sergeant Singleton holds the horse's front left hoof. All the men are wearing uniforms and hats and are in front of a barn. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition, November 18 1940.
