Personalities in the local draft news Tuesday because theirs were among the first numbers drawn from the historic goldfish bowl in Washington, D.C. Among the Tarrant County men whose number was called in the draft is J. H. Journey, 22, who was the twenty-second man in Area 6 to have his number drawn. Mr. Journey is standing behind a glass counter filling out a form. There are medical products and equipment on the shelves and counter. He is wearing a white collared shirt and a tie; he has a pencil behind his left ear. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 30, 1940.
