Description
Firemen fought in the bitter cold Thursday morning to extinguish a fire in the Harry S. Miller Poultry Company. The fire was believed to have resulted from an attempt to thaw a frozen water pipe. Damages were estimated around $3,000. Smoke is billowing from the top of the building, There are ladders propped outside and firemen on the roof. The fire truck is parked in front of the store and a hose is snaked across the pavement.
