Description
Tarrant County, Texas is conducting their peace time registration for the draft. Left to right are Ted Samosch, Joseph Estephan Pena, and Elwood Marr. Mr. Samosch is a refugee who escaped Hitler's wrath during the Holocaust and is now living in Fort Worth, Texas. He is enrolling Mr. Marr, a native of China who is now an American Citizen. Mr. Pena is serving as an interpreter at the courthouse. Mr. Samosch is dressed in a suit. Mr. Pena is wearing a collared shirt, sweater vest, and trousers. Mr. Marr is dressed in a pinstripe suit. His hat is sitting on the table. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition October 17, 1940.
