Tarrant County, Texas is conducting their peace time registration for the draft. Left to right are Cadet Roy Baker and John W. Waits. Roy is a Reserve Officer's Training Corp Cadet at McLean Junior High School. He is serving as a guide to the registrants. He is wearing his ROTC uniform. Mr. Waits is the nephew of E. M. Waits, president of Texas Christian University. He is dressed in a hat and a double breasted pinstripe suit. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition October 17, 1940.
