She's in Championship Flight -- From Washington, D. C., this crack shotmaker is competing for the title of the Texas Women's Open at Colonial Club this week. She is Helen Dettweiler, one of the four professional players in the field. Helen made the championship flight easily in Monday's test round. Helen is pictured here. She is putting on the green, dressed in a button-up blouse, skirt, and golf shoes. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 15, 1940.
