Description

The oil field flares and the yellow lamplight are the only bright spots in this oil painting by Doel Reed which is being exhibited in the Collins Gallery along with a representative group of his works which includes a collection of prints for which he is nationally known. Reed is an instructor at Oklahoma A. & M. College at Stillwater. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 13, 1940.
