Texas Christian University vs. University of Arkansas football game. Kyle Gillespie of Texas Christian University, number 10, passing to Phil Roach. Nearly all of the players on the field are visible in this shot, along with three referees; with everyone wearing their respective uniforms. Gillespie is standing near the right side of the picture on his own 30-yard line with a Texas Christian University and Arkansas player on the ground beside him. Roach is near on the left side of the picture, twelve yards in front of Gillespie, jumping up to catch the football that can be seen flying through the air in front of him. Past the players, the Arkansas bench players are sitting on the sidelines and , behind them, the stands are filled with people watching the game. Star-Telegram Morning, October 6 1940.
