Texas Christian University vs. University of Arkansas football game. Jack Odle, number 12, is carrying the ball on a 39-yard run. Most of the players on the field are visible in this shot, along with three referees; all of whom are wearing their respective uniforms. Odle is getting some admirable blocking from Gus Bierman, number 45, and Joe Rogers, number 50, who are both running beside Odle. Odle is being chased from behind by an Arkansas player while another Arkansas player in front and to the side of Odle, pursuing him. Star-Telegram Morning, October 6 1940.
