By airplane and ambulance sports fans converged on Texas Christian University Stadium to witness the inaugural Southwest Conference game between the Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University (TCU) vs. University of Arkansas. Shown here is spectator Mrs. Mike Brumbelow who had recently had an appendectomy and is being carried to the field in an ambulance that parked on the sidelines. She is sitting in a bed in the ambulance with a pillow propped behind her head. Another woman is standing beside her. They are both holding partially finished bottles of soda.
