Description
A fire erupted late Thursday afternoon at a rooming house on Taylor Street. Mary Lee Jennings, a dancer, fled her home leaving behind her belongings. She is standing in a crowd as they watch firemen attempt to extinguish the blaze. Another resident of the second store structure was P. C. Pannell, a sixty-one year old musician. He was killed and his wife critically injured when they jumped from their second story window.
