Description

R. L. "Dutch" Meyer is the head football coach at Texas Christian University. In 1938 he led the Horned Frogs to a National Championship. During the off-season, when he isn't working on football-related tasks, he can be found at home. Show is an upward view of Coach and Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) Meyer standing on their porch balcony, enjoying the view. Mrs. Meyer is wearing a dark colored dress. Coach Meyer is dressed in a three piece suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, February 11, 1940.
