Description
R. L. "Dutch" Meyer is the head football coach at Texas Christian University. In 1938 he led the Horned Frogs to a National Championship. He is lounging in a chair with his feet on the desk as he talks to one of his star Horned Frogs, Connie Sparks. Coach Meyer is dressed in a hat and a three piece suit. Sparks plays fullback and was a sophomore on the 1938 National Championship team. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, letterman jacket, and trousers. There are football pictures ranging from action shots to aerials of the stadium, pinned to the wall. A 1940 Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad calendar is handing on the wall.
