Second Lieutenant Bobby Mathis is shown in a copy of portrait photograph. He is wearing military uniform. Lieutenant Mathis, navigator of a Liberator in the India theater of war, has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and Air Medal. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Mathis of the Wichita Valley Farms. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 30, 1944.
