Description
Left to right, Barbara Wills, 10, daughter of Doctor and Mrs. E. B. Wills, with her guest, Dixie Montier, 8, native of France. Dixie has been separated from her family for five years, but the storming of Allied troops through France and the liberation of Paris, means that soon, perhaps, she will see her parents and sisters again. Barbara sits to Dixie's left on a floral sofa. A newspaper with the headline "French Patriots Seize Paris" sits on their laps. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition August 27, 1944.
