Description
North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC) students are doing their part in the war effort. In the farm repair shop are E. W. Rich, left, and J. L. Ridner. Mr. Rich brought in his tractor for a repair. He is wearing a hat, and a button up shirt with cuffed sleeves. Mr. Ridner is an ROTC student working in the repair shop as part of an extensive wartime program at NTAC. He is one of the many students on hand in the farm shop to help fix broken farm equipment. Their pay is in the experience they receive. NTAC has been turning out engineers, aircraft workers, naval apprentice seaman, and dozens of other trainees at a rapid clip thanks to the training work school. ,North Texas Agricultural College was later renamed The University of Texas at Arlington.
