Wilbarger County, Texas, Mains oil field. L. M. Oden, roustabout for Texas Company. Mr. Oden is shown outside pushing a shovel into the ground. He is wearing a helmet, a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of trousers while standing in a thin, long hole that he is digging up. Around him is the rest of the field that is made up of dirt and patches of grass. In the distance, some building can be seen including a tall tower.
