Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are preparing for the 1943 football season. Some of the new faces to the gridiron, left to right, are Billy Hale, Arthur Teixeira, Duke Bolen and James Lucas. Teixeira will get a majority of his snaps at right halfback. Lucas is a 160-pound triple threat player out of the backfield. The Pecos, Texas, native promises to be one of the key offensive threats this season. The players are shown standing against a fence, dressed in practice uniforms.
