    Description

Many Polio Patients Now Get Extensive Treatment: Infantile paralysis patients now require more extensive treatment than they did in the earlier stages of the disease. W. M. Massie, chairman, and A. B. Vera, secretary-treasurer of the Tarrant County Infantile Paralysis Association, are gratified that contributions are still coming in to the emergency fund. Among most recent contributors to the fund are Billy Harris, 11, and Jimmy Harris 7, of 1704 East Leuda, $9.03; Jimmy McKinney, 1634 East Leuda, pupil at R. Vickery School, $14.64. Harris brothers, left to right Billy and Jimmy are pictured here. Two boys are standing side by side, facing front and smiling. Both wearing stripped shirts. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 11, 1943.
