Description
Many Polio Patients Now Get Extensive Treatment: Infantile paralysis patients now require more extensive treatment than they did in the earlier stages of the disease. W. M. Massie, chairman, and A. B. Vera, secretary-treasurer of the Tarrant County Infantile Paralysis Association, are gratified that contributions are still coming in to the emergency fund. Among most recent contributors to the fund are Billy Harris, 11, and Jimmy Harris 7, of 1704 East Leuda, $9.03; Jimmy McKinney, 1634 East Leuda, pupil at R. Vickery School, $14.64. Jimmy McKinney is pictured here. A young boy is standing up with hands behind his back, smiling, wearing pants and button down shirt. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 11, 1943.
