The 1943 Golden Gloves season is concluding with the national fights at the Chicago Tournament of Champions. Competing for the lightweight division is Hubert Gray, of Wichita Falls, Texas. The Texan represented his home on the national stage. He is shown with his right glove in the air as tournament officials proclaimed him the winner.
