Description

Here is Snooks, a nine-year-old white horse and his owner, Grady Blue, manager of the S. B. Cantey Estate ranch near Palo Pinto in action. This pair has won the championship in the cutting horse contest at the Texas Cowboy Reunion at Stamford in 1940, at Mineral Wells and Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show at Fort Worth in 1941 and 1942. The image implies beginning of work. Grady Blue rides into the herd to look it over and out the desired cattle.
