Cattlemen from all over are traveling to Silver Creek Farms for the Hereford auction. The bidders are eager for a chance to purchase the highly esteemed cattle. In attendance, left to right, are W. J. Largent and John Alvey. Mr. Largent of Merkel, Texas, is talking about the bargain he received when he purchased Miss Silver at the auction. He is dressed in a cowboy hat and a double breasted suit. Mr. Alvey is from Shreveport, Louisiana. He is wearing a hat, suit, and a coat.
