Description
Cattlemen from all over are traveling to Silver Creek Farms for the Hereford auction. The bidders are eager for a chance to purchase the highly esteemed cattle. In attendance, left to right, are Bob Lazear and Lieutenant M. E. Genrich. The men are shown laughing over a funny story. Mr. Lazear is the manager of the Wyoming Hereford Ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, button-up shirt, bow tie, checkered blazer, and a coat. Lieutenant Genrich is a 1938 graduate of Iowa State and is currently stationed at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Before joining the army, he was with the Dean Hereford Ranch, near Fort Worth, Texas. He is dressed in his military uniform.
