One of the most active areas in West Central Texas is the Wimberly pool of southern Jones County. Shown here is E. C. Irwin, crew member on the Butler & Horne No. 4-A Winberly. Mr. Irvin is wearing work clothes and hard hat and sitting behind a belt and pulley. Behind him, there is a large number of long pipes on the ground. Star-Telegram Morning, March 8 1942.
