Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Posing with trophies, left to right, are Dick Menchaca and Arlo Roye. Mr. Menchaca, from Allen Academy, was the national champion in 1941. He is dressed in a military uniform as he presents a trophy to the new winner. Mr. Roye, of San Angelo, Texas, is the 1942 featherweight champion. He is wearing boxing gloves and has a coat draped over his shoulder.
