Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. One of the challengers for the bantamweight class is Tittle Mitchell. He is shown standing in front of a fireplace at the Medical Art Building. Mitchell is practicing his fighting pose, in preparation for the tournament. He is wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
