Description

A new starting roster will be filling the shoes of the 1940 Texas Wesleyan basketball team. Four-fifths of the stars from last season's team, which won the Texas Conference title, graduated. Being groomed for regular berths in the 1941 season, left to right, are Hardy Fortenberry, Weyman Cotton, Captain Clifton McNeely, E. F. Parham, and Bryan Truitt. McNeely is the only starter back from last season's team. The players are all wearing their basketball uniforms.
