Jack Dameron, left, and Elmer Harris are football players at Fort Worth Technical High School. They are the stars of Tech's offensive and defensive lines. Mechanics is a popular field of study among the athletes at the high school. Dameron and Harris are shown testing an automobile engine. They are both wearing mechanic's coveralls. Harris is working on an automobile engine in front of a Sun Motor Tester. There is a metal woodburning stove with a tall metal chimney behind Harris, and between and to the left of the two in the background are four onlookers.
