Players on the Diamond Hill High School football team are engaging in a different kind of studying. Reading up on football, left to right, are Maurice Watts, Floyd Daniels and Fred Daniels. They are shown laying in the grass, reading through a 1941 Football Pictorial Yearbook. Maurice is wearing a short-sleeve collared shirt. Floyd is dressed in a pinstripe shirt. Fred is wearing a t-shirt with horizontal stripe and has a signet ring, possibly his class ring. The high school is in the background.
