Description
These cattle bred by G. W. Evans and shipped from Magdalena, New Mexico, were found by the Chuck Wagon Gossiper in the feedlots of F. W. Heitmann and Sons near Victor, Iowa. They averaged 669 pounds when the Heitmanns paid $9.50 a hundred pounds for them the previous year. The cattle are standing in a field, with corn crops growing in the background.
